Attempt at digital painting. Her face looks so good close up but its totally lost now that I've resized it. I might upload close up shots. I tried messing around with making textures on this, its a little better maybe...man I really need to work on color theory :/
She's "fishing" with a beach ball in attempts to "catch" someone to play with. She's sitting on a reef so she's technically upside down, but I just thought it seemed like an interesting idea that a mermaid would be fishing....the things you come up with when you're half asleep time: 2 days...would have been longer, but my antsy-ness caught up with me about 15 minutes ago. |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
